The author of “When you’re trans, living at home with your parents can be complicated” did a great job of the way he wrote his article. Bringing in transgender people with these experiences and interviewing them brings something special to the article. It's one thing to know that not every parent is accepting of the transition but reading about why and how they aren't accepting brings the mentor text to life.
